About the fishery

Dorset Springs offers carp and mixed coarse fishing on a spring-fed lake near Sturminster Marshall. Admission is through a limited membership scheme with vetting and a waiting list. Ten swims serve a maximum of seven anglers per day; fishing sessions are arranged through the member booking system.

Barbless hooks and at least10lb line; braided main line and fixed rigs prohibited.
No plastic, foam or cork baits; permitted prepared tiger nuts only, other nuts prohibited.
Bring dry nets, slings and mats; minimum42-inch net and large unhooking mat/cradle.
No carp sacks; retainer slings require prior agreement.
Under18s require adult supervision; valid rod licence required by operator.
Pike fishing allows barbless trebles; bait boats must not interfere with others.
